This year, Timahoe Heritage Festival invites you to witness a rare spectacle from the heart of Viking society — a live dramatisation of a Viking Court, where disputes are settled, justice is served, and the audience has its say!

Step into the world of early Norse law, where cases were heard in public and decisions shaped by tradition, honour, and sharp tongues (and sometimes sharper swords!). Our Viking Court reenactment will explore how justice was dealt in the Viking Age — and in true festival fashion, you, the public, will be invited to help resolve the dispute.

Was a trade unfair? Did someone steal a goat? Or perhaps an insult must be avenged? Come along, hear the arguments, and cast your judgment. Who knows — you might be the one who decides the fate of a warrior!
