Pint Of Plane – Reclaimed Wood Demonstration
Pint of Plane Joins the Lineup at Timahoe Heritage Festival 2025!
We are thrilled to announce that Eoin Reardon, the skilled traditional woodworker behind Pint of Plane, will be joining us at this year’s Timahoe Heritage Festival, taking place on May 31st & June 1st, 2025.
Based in Cork, Eoin is a craft and hand tool enthusiast with a passion for giving new life to old wood. His work is rooted in tradition, shaped by skill, and guided by a deep respect for the natural material he works with. Whether it’s carving spoons, restoring vintage tools, or repurposing reclaimed timber into beautiful and functional pieces, Eoin’s approach is all about preserving heritage through hands-on craftsmanship.
At the festival, visitors will have the chance to:
-
Watch live demonstrations of traditional woodworking techniques
-
Learn about the history and value of hand tools
-
Chat with Eoin about the craft, the process, and his inspiration
-
See how forgotten pieces of wood can be transformed into something truly special
This is a fantastic opportunity to slow things down, step into the rhythm of traditional craft, and connect with a rich cultural heritage that’s still very much alive today.
