The Medieval Cooking Display at the Timahoe Heritage Festival 2019, proved to be a very popular, much frequented area, within the grounds of the Heritage Centre.
Primitive cooking methods they may have been, by modern standards, but dare we say the results were perhaps as delicious as we’ve ever tasted!
Everyone from kids and adults, to vikings and monks were licking their lips after sampling the fare, with one monk in particular, abandoning his fasting, again and again and again……
