The answer is well.

The Medieval Cooking Display at the inaugural Timahoe Heritage Festival in 2019, proved to be one of the most popular attractions, not just with visitors and vikings, but also the monks! Even those from orders of abstinence were spotted regularly helping themselves to the delicious food.

One thing we can truly say, is that, “if this is how our ancestors ate, they ate well,” as the food produced at the Medieval Cooking Display was simply delicious.

This year the display will take place on both June 4th & June 5th, starting at approximately 12pm each day, and is truly well worth a visit!
