Archers Ready!

On both days of this year’s Timahoe Heritage Festival, you can try your hand at the centuries old practice of archery! In medieval times it was of course one of the most prominent and effective weapons on the battlefield, and was also used as a very proficient hunting weapon.
Nowadays archery is practised as a competitive sport, or a recreational activity, and where better to try out your bowman ship skills than in the grounds of Timahoe Round Tower & Heritage Centre.

No pre-booking is required, just turn up on the day, with the targets ready from 12pm on Saturday & Sunday!
